Group day flow
Good group days run on simple rules, not constant texting. Decide three things at breakfast: meetup points, who skis together, and when you reconvene.
- Meetup points: base lodge clock, top of main gondola, or a named café — same place every day beats inventing new ones.
- Pace pairs: match by ability, not loyalty — fast riders lap, others take greens; reunite at lunch.
- Split intentionally: “tree crew” vs “groomer crew” works; accidental splits at lift forks do not.
- Lunch window: 11:30–13:00 block avoids the “where is everyone” spiral; use a group chat pin for exceptions only.
Last run: agree on a hard stop time and whether après is optional. Protect legs for tomorrow — the best crews pace the week, not just the day.
